Unfortunately, the Word of Life Lodge (Family Inn) will not be opening summer of 2022.

After much prayerful consideration, Word of Life had to make the tough decision to sell the Word of Life Lodge property.

The decision to sell this property comes only after prayerful evaluation of multiple scenarios to continue operations and considerable discussion at the committee and board level.

Several factors influencing this decision include adjustments in ministry and organizational strategy, rising operating costs, an increased need for substantial investments in the aging Lodge property, changing vacation patterns, and the lingering uncertainty with COVID-19.

With the summer approaching, Word of Life will provide Lodge guests the opportunity to enjoy an extended season and programming at the Pines and Lakeside properties in Pottersville, New York.  During the winter months, Word of Life Florida offers a 10-week conference program with speakers, rooms, RV-sites, and activities tailored for guests staying for a week or the entire season.

Word of Life will continue to offer exciting camping opportunities for youth and families of all ages at the Island, Ranch, Ridge (formerly the Wild), Pines, Lakeside, and Florida properties.  The ministry remains focused on its core mission of reaching youth with the gospel and the overall sustainability of the worldwide ministry now reaching 82 countries.
