What should campers wear during Snowcamp for outdoor activities?
Campers will spend most of their free time participating in outdoor activities. Be prepared to bundle up with plenty of warm options. Campers should come prepared with warm clothing including the following:
- A winter jacket or two
- Snow pants
- Warm boots and wool socks
- Gloves
- Winter hats
- Bath towel and beach towel (especially if they would like to participate in the Polar Plunge activity)
What can't I bring to Snowcamp?
- No see-through or tight-fitting clothes
- No short shorts, mini-skirts, or two-piece swimsuits
- No electronic devices (phones/tablets/music players/game systems)
- No contraband (knives/weapons/drugs)
Can I bring my cell phone or laptop to Snowcamp?
No, campers cannot have their phones throughout the Snowcamp weekend.
Since we have a "no-media" policy for campers during their stay with us, campers are not allowed to have technology available to them throughout the Snowcamp weekend. This includes cell phones, MP3 players, any form of gaming system, and the like.
As camp is a very active environment, we encourage campers to bring a camera if they would like to capture their time at camp with the understanding that Word of Life is not liable for any loss or damage.
