Throughout Scripture, we see God's command to reach people where they are. He tells us to be understanding of the times (Romans 13:11; 1 Chronicles 12:32), and to go out and compel people to come in (Luke 14;23). If we're to obey Him and to minister effectively, we have to be wise in understanding our changing culture and reaching it in  a

compelling way.

There were many factors that led to us take this step at this point in the ministry. At the forefront was the prompting of God and the sense of urgency we feel to reach our generation. As we look to the 75 years before us and the time ahead, we believe God wants to use this ministry to reach as many people as possible with the truth of His Word. To do this, we must communicate effectively, in a way that is compelling and relevant to the times we live in. This does not mean compromising our values or commitment to the truth of Scripture, but rather intentionally communicating that truth in a way people can understand.

This decision was not made lightly. We spent more than a year in prayer, research and strategic planning to arrive at this decision. We have felt God's hand each step of the way and believe great things are in store for Word of Life.
